This quote, in my opinion, this quote perfectly sums up my friendship with Hannah Elizabeth Naber Ashley. She is my best friend, but she is more than that. She is my sister, my "kindred spirit", my soulmate, if you will. Sometimes it's as though she knows me better than I know me! But enough on that. There will be a post later on her pure awesomeness. Today, I want you to get to know her so you too can come to love the amazing person I get to call "Bestie".
I interviewed her, asking her the following questions. Below you will read her answers. After that, you will be privileged to see a slideshow I put together that perfectly sums up who she is. Also, she interviewed me as well. If you'd like to get to know me a little more, maybe read something to help you fall asleep (I'm not a very interesting person to read about. Lol), be sure to check out her blog!
Also, we will be doing, together, a monthly blog challenge, where we both have a topic, and write about it (they will be different, as they will have our different perspectives), then share each other's blogs. Be sure to stay tuned!

1. What embarrasses you the most and/or what’s been your most embarrassing moment?
When I stumble while speaking to someone. I've never been an extrovert. I joke that I'm half extrovert, half introvert, so getting out and talking to people is a hit or miss! LOL Some of my most embarrassing moments are when I try to speak to someone and my words start getting ahead of myself and I began to choke on my tongue. I'm sure it's not that bad, but it's still embarrassing!
2. Who do you look up to the most, and what qualities do you love about that person?
My Mom. Her selflessness. As a mother of 10, I honestly don't know how she did it. I always knew although there were so many of us, she would always have time for me and would sacrifice whatever she had to provide for us.
3. What would be your perfect day? Plan it out from breakfast to bedtime.
Wake up early to a perfect cup of coffee. Get into some really cute (but extra comfy) clothes, and read for several hours uninterrupted. Then after lunch (made by someone else) go out to the beach with Brandon and the kids to lay out and listen to the waves and them playing while I continue to read that same book to the very end. That evening snuggle with Brandon and the kids, watch a move and eat junk food all guilt free.
4. What’s your biggest fear?
Losing those I love. ....and spiders....well... all bugs.
5. How do you like to be comforted when you’re sad or upset?
Depends on what is upsetting me. Mainly I like to be left alone to process. I really just enjoy getting into the car, turning up the music and just driving around. Sometimes I need to rant just let it all out. ( Thanks Krys for always listening) But you know something that always helps is good Coffee and distractions.
6. What’s your favorite memory?
When each of my children were born. My memory is horrible, but I can describe every detail of those first moments with each of them. 2 of the best moments of my life.
7. What’s your favorite thing you own and why?
I cannot name just one thing but the first thing that came to mind was my vacuum, I LOVE MY SHARK VACUUM. You can see the difference! Crisp, clean lines ... nothing like a good vacuum!
8. Who was the last person who made you cry and why?
My son Jonas. But it's not what you think. First off, let me start this little story by saying I was running on like 2, maybe 3, hours of sleep. I was sitting with Jonas watching stupid videos on my phone when this really hilarious ( at the time... truth is, its not so funny ) video came up and the first image was of this very strange-looking squirrel with long hair and Jonas, in his usual serious voice says "Well that's an ugly bunny" and I don't why but I died laughing and got to that really embarrassing crying laughing moment.
9. Where do you hope to be 5/10/15 years from now?
5 years, finishing college working on finding a steady career, maybe being an interior decorator on the side**. New house, maybe a million dollars in my account. 10 years, co-owning and enjoying working at mine and Krys coffee shop / book store and still working on the side. Jonas and Bristol will be in High school and Middle school!!!! AHHHH ( insert wide-eyed emoji) and working towards my 15 year goal which will be...I don't know not dying? I'll be like 90 then! :D
10. If money was no object, what would you buy?
Where to start :D I'd like to go on a crazy shopping spree and finish every Pinterest project for the house and yard. My husband and I enjoy making things for around the house and I love decorating. Also I'd buy the perfect house for my mom. She has always settled for less having all of us kids and to work with her making her dream home would be so much fun and she deserves it so much!
11. When have you felt the most proud?
Anytime Jonas or Bristol reached a certain milestone. When you have a child everything they do amazes you and your child is clearly a genius.
12. When have you felt the most challenged?
This kind of goes with the last question, Raising kids. I know most of us parents try to sugar coat when our kid accomplishes something (see above, Lol), but sometimes some of it can get really challenging. When Jonas was finally able to read his sight words I felt like a weight had lifted. We worked so hard, and him and I were both so elated when it finally clicked.
13. Do you have any regrets?
I've been asked this question before and I'm mixed about it. It's not that I have no regrets but the over-thinker in me thinks if I hadn't done those things or been in that situation I wouldn't be the same person. But if I had to answer, I suppose I would remove toxic people out of my life sooner.
14. When was the moment in your life you laughed the hardest?
Oh gosh too many times with Krys. One favorite would be " DOUBLE RAINBOW". Yes, I'm talking about that ridiculous viral video you may remember from years ago when this random person lost his mind over a double rainbow in the sky. I laughed so much at that, it still tickles me!! Although that was that kind of embarrassing crying laughing too.
15. Which celeb would you want as your other BFF and why?
I have no answer for this. I was thinking Taylor Swift, but honestly I feel like that is thee most ultimate basic white girl answer. #noshame Why? yeah, I got no answer for that LOL
16. What did you dream about last night?
I have no dreams. :| #sarcasam
17. Which family member are you closest to?
Definitely, without a doubt, my Mom. It's crazy how even though we disagree on a lot, we can pretty much read each other's mind and know exactly what the other is thinking. Having her in my life has helped me strive to be a better person and better mother.
18. What do you do when no one else is around?
When is that? I honestly cannot remember when that was to give an answer. The bathroom...or wait nope "Good job Mommy" is right there! Sometimes I YouTube the most random crap that I feel like I either need to learn or something for laughs but I'm never really alone.
19. Where do you want to travel?
PARIS <3 I've always thought when I " grew up" ( still working on that ;) ) I'd travel and never get married or have kids and Paris has always been the dream place to see. Brandon went to Belgium last March and I made him swear to me that he would NOT go to Paris while he was touring or when he got back I wouldn't be there! Him and I are currently planning our trip for Europe. Paris better be one of our first stops.
20. What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
These are very random but I listen to all kinds of genres of music. Like everything from Opera to pop and even classical. I draw the line at country though. Not my thing. Also I have really random things memorized...like the Preamble to the Constitution and all the Presidents. ( Thank you homeschooling I know I will use that someday :D )
